the premises while simple, hold pretty well in this instance considered that the deceased princess used to live secluded which is why only a few handful of people know her face and her only recognizable feature are her blue eyes which mean that the main character, nina is able to pass off as a more or less convincing double. In itself, as far as the 1st volume take the story is... okay, definitively intriguing (why can't azur be on the throne? why was the princess living in seclusion?) but there's still some details that are confusing (we see a king but it's not explained if it's azure and alisha's father? and if he is then wouldn't he recognize his daughter?).

The illustrations are incredibly pretty, rikachi has a very delicate art style that i truly appreciate but lag there and there when it comes to more dynamic panels.

Overall, i'd give it a 3.5/5 stars, definitively something i would continue reading because i'm pulled by the plot but i'm more wary of the execution of said plot.
