Oathbringer, by Brandon Sanderson

This was my first read (or rather listen) of this book. It did grip me slightly less than the first two. I think my fav so far is volume two. Three is still an amazing book, and there are many great and tender and sad and funny and shocking and awesome and terrible moments in it. I was surprised by my growing interest in characters that had not intrigued me before. Among the great and the middling moments, there were one or two that I did not like. But it would be strange in such a big book if that did not happen. And I also realize that what I don‘t like is someone else’s fav scene. I also was positively surprised by the romance. I had my doubts before and must say he did well there. Nice.
