Hellboy: Into the Silent Sea by Mike Mignola, Gary Gianni

A classic Hellboy story, to be sure. Hellboy is wandering about, gets into supernatural trouble, and then wisecracks his way into solving said problem. Gianni's artwork is as evocative as ever, and is a fitting choice for a Hellboy story, considering he made his name illustrating characters and stories that inspired Mignola in his creation of Hellboy and the 'Mignolaverse' as fans like to call it. I only wish that Mignola acquired the services of Gianni more, as he is a rather natural fit for the Hellboy canon. But oh well, a man can only dream...
