I lost track of the number of times I both laughed out loud and got warm, fuzzy, early flirtation feelings while listening to this book. The writing and narration was spot-on, and I still can't get over the way the narrator has Clark say "Lola" 💗
Dane Clark reminded me of a cross between Big Bang Theory's Sheldon Cooper and Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds, with billions of dollars of course. Watching him try to navigate standard social encounters and friendship was hilarious and endearing.
I almost got the twist right! Of the two possible twists possible, I was leaning more toward the other ðŸ˜
This isn't the best mystery I've read this year, but it's certainly not the worst. I'll definitely be visiting the Sunshine Shore again soon.
