Kierson has something really special here. More to Love is such a gentle, delicate story with a equal mix of sweetness and spice. I’m also a sucker for a bookstore setting and they really made a truly cozy space that I want to get lost in.  The chemistry Emmy, a bi plus size Korean man, and Jamir, a bi black man, had was the swooniest. I love that in the spicy scenes, consent is reinforced and protective measures are used. I also loved that. They both had an arc of trying to step into more honest versions of themselves after living through the pressures of others, with Emmy feeling like he had to pursue Olympic wrestling at the behest of his influencer ex wife, and Jamir with trying to live up to his family’s legacy while dampening down his photography dreams, and coming into more authentic versions of themselves with the help of the love of each other. I’m always amazed with Kierson’s writing and this is just another example of why they are one of my favorite writers currently.
