Missing You by Harlan Coben

4.0

If you ever need a good jolt to the heart, just call on Harlan Coben. No one can write a thriller like he can. With links seeming so futile and unrelated, by the end you are kicking yourself for not seeing the signs sooner! Such is the case with ‘Missing You’.

While I dock a point for the protagonist being woefully shallow and unrelentingly unpleasant in the beginning, by the end all is (for the most part) either redeemed or explained away. This stand-alone has all the layers you want in a tale, and leaves just enough of a lingering thread at the end for you to wish this was the start of a series!

A great read, across the board!
