Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Jill Mansell

Did not finish book. Stopped at 56%.
Way more casual woman-hating than I can tolerate in my light romances. Also the evil big city is bad and full of temptations and there's no way our male protag can be a good parent while exposed to all this so best head to a small wholesome village where there is a handy girl next door who can act as surrogate mum, like that's the audition you have to pass.
