I used to devour urban novels when i was in middle school and i used to always see this authors novels on the shelf but i never picked them up (the covers didn’t look diabolical enough to middle school me)
So i decided to give her a chance now, at my big age of 22 and honestly I don’t know what to say, so let me start off first by saying- I was throughly entertained. I almost had an aneurysm because of how incredibly stupid the main character was, the book operates under the assumption that all the characters are complete morons (which is not necessarily a negative although it sounds like i’m
saying it is)
I nearly pulled all my locs out of my head in frustration the ENTIRE time, the audiobook narrator was good though, but i just wanted to reach in the book and shake Raven.
Ethic was fine as heck and i will be reading his series next
