On Loverose Lane was my first book from Samantha Young, and to say I was hooked would be an understatement. This book consumed me from the first chapter to the last and everything in between!

"Life is going to throw curveballs at you all the time. One day you’ll be up, the next down, and it’s a never-ending roller coaster of peaks and troughs. That’s life. It’s not because you’re a failure.”

Beth and Callan's relationship, past and present, was a beautiful, messy, relatable love that neither could deny no matter how much they tried. While there were hard topics and hurt to work through, they never gave up once they reunited, and the banter between these two, family and friends, was top-notch. I was equal parts laughing with the witty comments and crying with some of the seriousness through the story.

“I wanted you. I have never in my life not wanted you. I can’t even remember them. I know that makes me an utter arsehole, but the truth is, you were the first and only girl who ever got in there.”

The Captain and his Princess will have you on your knees begging for more! The journey these two traveled was PERFECTION, and the love they found once again in each other was breathtaking. So if you love sports romance, fake dating, close proximity, second chance, opposite side of the tracks, mental health rep, neighbors to lovers, then you'll definitely want to return to Dublin Street.
