Dying for Danish by Leighann Dobbs

3.0

2.5 stars.

I struggled with rating this story. While it was everything I look for in a book, it lacked a certain something that I just can't put my finger on. This was a cute, short and quick read. I liked all the characters. I chuckled a few times and found the story to be enjoyable. I'm definitely not disappointed with the book and I'm glad I read it. But that elusive something is missing and makes the book fall into the 'mediocre' category. I did enjoy the first book in the series a lot better. I have the box set (1-4), so I'll get started on the third book and see if the series can redeem itself.
