A Living Remedy by Nicole Chung

5.0

Gorgeously written and absolutely devastating memoir of grief and loss. Chung’s father passed away at a time
when she couldn’t afford to provide more support or visit more often; just a short time later she was kept away from her mother’s final weeks and days with the onset of COVID. I identified most with the crushing guilt of living far away from family, but Chung’s depictions of her losses and ongoing grief are just stunning.
