I feel like so many people told me they thought that this book felt slower than the first two and harder to get through, but I actually really enjoyed it. I loved the new characters added and how the story unfolded.
I feel so late to the game, so I already know so many of the new additions by name only. And while I could easily pick them out when they showed up, even before introductions, I knew very little beyond that and so still enjoyed learning more and more about each of them in turn. I wasn’t expecting this to be a multiple POV book - for whatever reason - but I adjusted quickly and found myself looking forward to certain characters in particular.
Per usual with the Maas books, the audiobook narrator was phenomenal. 🎧
