Copper for the Countess by Sally Britton

4.0

This was such a sweet story! I loved the mix of cultures. Set in Arizona during the Victorian era we get the cowboy feel along with English society. Our main couple are both thrown into difficult situations that bring them together. Chris is now the guardian of his friend's two kids and Evelyn, a widow with a kid from England, has traveled all the way to Arizona to find the shares in a copper mine to give them a living is counterfeit. She has had a hard past with the men in her life so she isn't sure she can trust Chris but his character is so sweet. They learn about each other and grow.
I listened to the audio and loved it! The narrator did a great job with the different parts from the accents to the gender and age. I could easily get into the story.
