For some reason this time around the story was so much more gripping and exciting! I really liked Keera as a recovering/healing MC, and watching her come to terms with what she struggles with while also finding out some pretty badass things that we’ll definitely see grow in the later books! I’m pumped! That last damn sentence 🤯 already grabbed book 2 from the library!
Mmm like a 3.5⭐️
It was a good journey of a story, the plot was understanding and you had your rambunctious cast of characters but nothing truly stood out to me as uhh I need to continue. I probably will just because of the cliffhanger and it wasn’t a terrible story. I actually enjoyed the alcoholic moments because it made our MC real, that is a very real issue that people struggle with and I actually appreciated this piece of what made her her. But the story as a whole just wasn’t super ground breaking for me.
