I listened to the audiobook and I must say the 2 narrators were spot on. I think they added to the story. I've read a couple of books co-authored by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen and I've enjoyed them all. 

Jessica is a hard working girl barely scraping by in NYC. When the chance to earn some extra money by being in a study comes along, the easy cash sounds too good to be true. Enter Dr. Shields and her diabolical methods. You know what they said, "if it seems to good to be true, then it is". Some of the story was a tad predictable however, I did not know how it would ultimately end.
