Honestly, this book wasn't for me. I have tried again to pick up this book for 10 years and it was hard to get through with an audiobook. My mom and I decided to read this together and she enjoyed the book and is continuing on to the next in the series. I however, will not.

The choice of language is reminiscent of an adult trying to act like a child. The language and choice of words wasn't very believable to come from a teenage girl.

The plot was great. I love the dystopian back drop of the novel. It's great they travel to different levels of reality. I just wished there was more time spent with Wisty developing her powers. By the end at about 80% she seems to have mastered her powers and it kind of threw me off.

The last part of the book was more engaging than the rest of the novel. At 90% of the way through I was intent on listening. I feel like the book lacked depth. We as the audience needed to be more invested in the characters.
