Okay, I did not expect to genuinely enjoy that as much as I did, it brought back me back to the way I used to feel reading YA fantasy back in highschool. This is also my first time reading romantasy, and I thought I'd be really into it but you know what? I'll still choose ao3 any day, I think smut in books just isn't for me. Anyways, I think I'll be reading the second book in a couple weeks, but I'm itching for some horror first.
Also, it was really close to being a 5*, but by the end the cringe siphoned off half a star for me. Still fun to read if you ignore the cringe tho.
