This was such an enjoyable book which is about a girl who wakes up after a car accident and forgets who she is but wants to change the person she used to be. This book reminded me a little of Before I Fall expect without the whole dying part from the other book. The author's writing was really well done. I was instantly hooked into the writing and didn't expect it to be this dark. I enjoyed the setting which was nicely described but the pacing was a tad slow for me. The suspense of the book was really well done and weirdly to say that I wasn't expecting it to be a mystery novel but more of a self-discovery. Mostly everything was well done with the writing!

The main character is Allie who has lost memory of who she used to be. She has a great character development in the book as she has to discover herself and why she is feeling the way she is. She tries to build relationships and tries to connect with people who she can trust. There are also many side characters in this book who either help with the MC's journey or just make it worse. I enjoyed most of the side characters but some were a little annoying. The only romance in this book is Allie's past boyfriend but the romance isn't the main factor of this story which I think was perfect for this book.

The ending was well done and I enjoyed how the author wrote this story. This book mostly focuses on Allie's traumatic past and how she has to fine herself throughout it. Overall the story was very well written and I had only some minor problems. I totally recommend reading this book because it's a must read. No books can really compare to how this one is.
