The events of Collided overlap those of the first book, Throttled, but shift the perspective to different characters. This makes the plot a little too predictable to my liking. The added insight into Sophie' and Liam's characters is nice, altough it feels somewhat insignificant to the whole group of F1 people in the series: the others were given barely any time to shine during this book (just enough to hint at / build a shaky premise for the next sequel). I think the main gain here is to see if/how Sophie's fuck it list gets completed — so if you're here for the smut and a (tropes: friends to friends with benefits to lovers ) love story, you'll get what you bargain for, but otherwise this book is easily skippable.
Graphic: Sexual content and Alcohol
Moderate: Cursing, Death, Vomit, and Grief
Minor: Pregnancy and Abandonment
