Threat of an evil rule and destruction of humanity by Wyrms threatens the world brilliantly built by Shannon.  I’m depth religions, beliefs and kingdoms are all shown throughout the story from the viewpoint of many lovable characters. Many strong women in this book and great relationships that carried the book. The pacing was a little slow (in a good way) at the start but picked up extremely fast toward the end of the story almost feeling rushed. I felt a bit disconnected towards the end of the story.
