No One Left to Come Looking for You by Sam Lipsyte

1.0

I wish I could give this a half star. I’m glad it’s over.

I’m curious what Lipsyte was trying to accomplish with this book. He’s obviously exploring traditional masculine gender norms, but what else? Is there anything else? It doesn’t really feel that way.

I think Donald Trump’s short appearance in the book was so, so unnecessary. And not in a “I dislike Donald Trump” way, but in a “how does this character propel the story” way.
