I’m sorry just…can we not refer to Rowan as an “alpha male” ten times in one chapter?
Also I never want to read “plant a baby in you” again in my life; have to bleach my eyeballs after that one.
The love interest’s main character trait is being angry and killing people which did NOT work in this book unfortunately. “You’re a normal civilian, act like it”. I know he was a Navy SEAL so that’s a small justification for it but also…why did she say he was in the Army in the first half of the book?? It’s supposed to be a small town and he’s supposed to be very well-liked so how does she not know he was a Navy Seal?? I’m calling BS.
Also this man NEVER speaks in full sentences. It’s always “wanna ___.” Or “gonna ___.” But his family seems normal and speaks in full sentences soooooooo ?
The cringe factor was too high in this unfortunately (though I did binge it in 2 days, so I suppose that says something).
