As with the first two books in this series, I enjoyed The Night Masquerade more as an audiobook than an ebook. I also enjoyed it more my second time through.
I grew increasingly taken with the characters I'd already started growing fond of, and foundNew Fish particularly delightful.
The edan reveal is a little silly and very anticlimactic. I remember feeling annoyed by it during my first read-through, but the second time through, I found it almost charming.
I didn't think this would wind up being the case, but I would love to read this series again. And, while I had some (arguably) major issues with the first two books, the third makes up for that for me.
