Bride of Death by Tim Pratt, T.A. Pratt

3.0

It's a fun read, but throughout the book there is a very clear sense that this is an adventure that Marla chooses.to.have and she is under no risk whatsoever -- this means that it's essentially a vacation / road trip set up by her husband and god self.

So... yay? I mean, she's willing to break out the cheat codes at the end, but its not like she is even "doing something stupid" in how she walks into this situation between two gangs. She's immortal and omnipotent. The only issue she has is with herself.
