I simultaneously disliked this book yet couldn’t put it down. The beginning of the book was really hard to get through, it was slow and I was constantly confused. The writing style is very interesting and leaves things pretty murky and confusing but I ended up loving it by the end. I never understood some of the characters and their motivations even by the end of the book. Overall I’m glad that I finished it though and I will admit that I cried.

this isn’t a book that you should look to to learn things about life or people. People aren’t destined to be or act a certain way because they were abused. It isn’t okay to excuse rape for love. Etc. Young impressionable readers, don’t internalize anything about this book.Graphic: Child abuse and Rape
Moderate: Self harm and Suicide
Minor: Drug use
