L'aventure de l'amour by Linda Howard

3.0

I'm such a sucker for Linda Howard's books, her ultra-alpha-Male hero, and the simple bad guy suspense plots (not overdone) when they're done well. And this is one of those times. This book is pretty old school, but it's still a relevant, really enjoyable read.

Rachel is strong, sensible, drama-free, loving, and admirable.

Kell is lethal, growl-ly, yummy, smart, and cynical about the prospect of ever being able to be close to anyone (the main relationship problem).

The plot stretches the bounds of belief multiple times, but not past my breaking point.
