The second entry in The Warlord Chronicles capitalizes on all the things that make the first unique and engaging. The setting is entrenched in history, the transition between Pagan tradition and Christianity creates very interesting dynamics, and of course Cornwell at the end of the day stays true to what makes my guy Arthur so pure. 9/10.
