The timespan of the book runs backwards which is confusing to digest. The plot twist of who killed Corrinne was a surprise but I still found the overall story lacklustre and the characters a bit thin. The protagonist Nic was messy. I probably liked Laura the most but even she had a dark side. 2.5 stars
Moderate: Car accident, Death, Dementia, and Murder
Minor: Suicide and Gun violence
