This was unsettling and disorienting in the best way. The writing was well done and I loved the building anticipation. I always felt tense while reading this, regardless of what was actually happening in the story. The ending was a let down after all the build up and I disliked the abruptness of it. I'd definitely seek out Schweblin's work again in the future, though.
