The perfect summer doesn't exist? Uh, yes it does and it is this book!

So glad i finally read this after such a long time of waiting. I wasn't expecting it to be filled with so much relatability and emotional comfort. It was more than just a romance in it of itself.

Gus, my beloved. He truly makes my heart flutter in ways I cannot understand <3

January, my girl. So relatable and funny. Her journey and character development throughout the book was just perfectly written. I just wanted to give her a big goddamn hug and tell her everything is going to be okay!

Their dynamic together was just *chef's kiss* <3. The banter even better. I found myself audibly laugh at their jokes and quirks that I sometimes forget I was reading them.

And the ending could not have been cuter! (I cried of course) it is but the simplest most grand gesture anyone could have ever done! Gus, you have done it again constantly raising the bar for all of us.

I have never wanted this book to end from the start but when it got to that point I felt satisfied—I just wanted to scream, jump up and down and happy cry! Thank you, Emily Henry!
