4.5/5. Moved by the honest and insightful portrayal of Anne, as well as the resounding effects of childhood trauma in Peter’s character. Also loved the father-daughter relationship between Kate & Francis. My only issue was that Kate fell flat in the latter half of the book—her character as a child and young adult was far more interesting than adult Kate, for me. Absolutely loved it, overall.
