Mrs. Caliban by Rachel Ingalls
5.0
Suburban depression, love affairs, and a gigantic green fish man...
This was a really well-written novel that, somehow, ties all three of those things together wonderfully. Just enough sci-fi thriller to keep you on your seat, but the main engine is the desperate-ness of an unfulfilling suburban life, and the sadness of losing loved ones (to death or other things).
Surprisingly heavy, yet a fun read.
