Somebody wrote a review tha this was trying to be a jurassic park that didn't deliver.
I disagree on all points.
This was a great read, and having read a lot of cryptozoology I got nostalgic over all the monsters.
The pacing is fast, the descriptions graphic and detailed without being boring. They might turn off sone readers.
The characters were likeable even if their actions didn't always match the state of mind they should be in considering their circumstances. But I didn't really care.
The writing style is a bit of a mix of the mundane with focus on what really matters..the creatures.
This could also be a great movie if done properly.
I already bought the sequel and cant wait to start it.
