This book drained my energy😔
Second reading and moved from audiobook to the printed book, I can really feel the emotion running back to my spine. I don't mine slow-burn romance. But, the story being academic rivals drained me (in a slightest way).
I love the ending, yes. But, I can't stand how the MC (Sadie) was always want everything to be perfect for her to make everyone happy but not hers. What a people pleaser MC we have here. And in reading the story, she's always been so hard on herself. Not just in academic thing; but also in some leisure competition; like... why always want to win? I need her finally to loosen up a bit as she should.
But, overall I Hope This Doesn't Find You is a lovely academic rivals to lovers trope's story. Great job, Ann! Thank you so much!
