I'm an avid reader so it just makes my day when a book has the ability to completely consume me.
I couldn't put it down. I'm texting my friends pushing this on them like it's chocolate cake... Dooo ittt!
I love Alessandras books but this one sets her apart. Her best work yet. I felt the need to hug Helena at one point. Physically felt it. She wouldn't have put up with that nonsense, but she needed it.
It's rare anymore that a book makes me say "Wait...what? Wow!!!" and I said exactly that. I needed that. I've been burnt out on the fiction out there and needed to be reminded that books can still make me feel something, whether it's surprise, sympathy, or disgust. This is my "Book of 2017".
