Accused: A Rosato & Dinunzio Novel by Lisa Scottoline

1.0

I have read several Lisa books and find them generally pretty annoying. But still readable. This book was awful. I don't think I can finish it. I have to note that this is the first time that I have listened to an audio version of one of her books. That definitely did not help. It was painful to listen to the author reading her parents dialogue. Not only was it ridiculously and embarrassingly stereotypical, but the father only shouts when he talks and everything he says is ignorant. The over the top Italian accents were painful to listen to. I definitely can't continue with the audio version, but the story also didn't captivate me enough to bother reading it. I would probably still hear those annoying audio book voices in my head so this is probably my first and last DiNunzio book.
