really wanted to watch it but ended up being quite disappointed.
it started off quite intriguing as we were first being introduced to all the perspectives. it was still confusing but at that point all the weird events from the circus dude who was apparently the devil to the weird sexual adventures.
however, as the story began to progress and the story lines became intertwined but still quite distant i lost interest. i struggled to grasp what was going on and i failed to care for any of the characters since we changed it up so quickly. i also found it difficult to distinguish the chapters/perspectives since they are all written in the first person perspective.
i definitely feel like a lot of the twists went over my head so i didn't really get the full effect since they were written in such a confusing and obscure manner. i didn't find anything creepy or spooky, the atmosphere was there but if anything the events in the book were just weird but nothing more.
sad i didn't enjoy it that much :(
