Christine Feehan is the queen of paranormal romance. I have loved every single book she has written and every single book is on my bookshelf.
Wild Rain is book 3 (book 4 if you count the prequel novella). in the Leopard People series and follows Conner Vega and Isabeau Chandler.
This couple are true mates who met a year previously but were torn apart by lies and betrayals. When Conner first met Isabeau, he was part of a mission where his role was to seduce her to get close to her father.
Conner is called back to the Panama jungle where he is originally from, to help uncover crimes that are being placed upon the leopard people. He is being asked to again, seduce another woman, Imelda, so they can gain access to her home, to rescue leopard shifters, including children, that have been abducted by her.
Conner comes face to face with Isabeau again, who requested him for this mission (as she obviously knows he is good at seduction) and he is not letting her go this time.
They are getting a second chance to be together, to overcome their past and move forward as the mates they are destined to be.
