On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves

2.0

This book had a lot going for it (I'm a sucker for castaway stories), but I was disappointed by the fact that there wasn't really that much conflict. Every potential scenario for something bad to happen pretty much resolved itself before it even got started. By the end, it seemed like any other sappy formulaic love story (very Kristen Hannah-esque) so I was ready for it to be over. So much potential, it was sad to see this idea squandered.
