4 ⭐️ I reread this book for the second time as I have bought the rest of the series since I loved the first two. I must add that this book is definitely my favourite out of the first two I have read. Alongside Evan’s missions he is captured by a person that is interested in him and Evan finds out something not so good about this man and his ideas for the future. His rivals are also still out to get him.
However, Evan still thinks about the boy on the other end of the phone needing his help, later you find out that the phone never worked and it was in fact Evan’s younger self asking for the help 😢 The ending had me smiling for Evan and Mia, yet my jaw hit the floor when Evan had picked up the phone to have heard Jack’s voice.
