Like I always have to say when reviewing one of Chelsea’s books, she is my bff in real life, so my opinion might be bias, but look. She can do no wrong. She just keeps getting better and better! Patrick is so perfect! I am not always a friends to lovers girlie, I sometimes find the stories slow paced, and the stakes not high enough, but that was not the case here! There is something to be said about watching two people who know each other inside and out fall in romantic love with each other. I had a smile on my face the entire time I was reading, and with no third act breakup, my smile never faltered. I also didn’t feel like it needed any conflict to hold my attention or make things more interesting. Patrick and Lola were interesting without the unnecessary separation. The story is engaging and funny, Patrick is obsessed without being creepy, and Lola is maybe my favorite of all of Chelsea’s fmc’s! The road trip was so fun, the appearances of everyone else, and the few surprise blink and you’ll miss them Easter eggs had me giddy!! I loved it, I loved all of it!!
