Loved this. Didn’t anticipate I would enjoy a book with kids in it that much but it was really fun. A bit heavy-handed in its messaging and the final twist was more of a „oh come on get it over with“ moment but that could also just have been influenced by me having read a book featuring sisters with themed flower names right before . Overall, a really comforting book that made me more optimistic. Not sure I would classify this as adult literature though, probably more like young adult.
Moderate: Child abuse and Abandonment
Minor: Death, Self harm, and Death of parent
