Odessa has just moved from a small down in Louisiana to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC, NY. In the midst of the culture shock, she gets a job a independent book store that has a cafe that sells all the hipster foods you can eat and all the hyperlocal craft beer you can drink. It's a job, waiting tables and trying to avoid getting run over by food trucks, when her coworker falls to her death during a flashmob. With no evidence, the police quickly rule it an accident, and stop investigating. Odessa decides that she has to investigate and ends up making friends for life while solving a murder.
It's an interesting murder mystery, and has an interesting look at life in Williamsburg.
