I remember reading reviews for this book and a lot of people found it hardly believable. And I have to say: Who expected it to be? This is a murder mystery where a 17yo girl has complete control over everything and everyone tells her their secrets. It's Nancy Drew for a new generation. I never expected it to be believable.
But I? I loved it. I loved that there were consequences from the last book, although I wished her parents had been more strict afterwards. I loved that this book will age horribly because of all the pop culture references. I love that Pip descends into her own hell but still fights for good. I just had a wonderful time. All the effort put into this book was not for nothing.
