The Daughter's Tale by Armando Lucas Correa

2.0

I read this book in chunks which I think did a disservice to the story, and ultimately made it less enjoyable as a read for me. Most of the story takes place in France. I learned a lot about the occupation of France and the effect of the war on the more remote villages, which was bigger than expected. If I were to reread this I'd try to read it in a more compact timeline, with less distractions.
