The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row by Anthony Ray Hinton, Lara Love Hardin

5.0

Wow! What a fantastic book. Anthony Ray Hinton has experienced one of the worst injustices I've ever heard of. Hearing him tell his story, it is absurd that he was arrested, absurd he was found guilty, and unbelievable that it took so long for him to be released from prison. God was working through him during that time while he was in prison, and hopefully Ray understands that he has impacted so many people because of it. In general, I think Ray would have had an amazing story to tell. His zest for life, women, and his great love for his friends and family is uplifting and inspiring. I am sorry he had to go through what he did to tell this story. The parts where he talks about the other aspects of his life were fascinating as well. I was enthralled the entire audiobook. I would recommend this book to all!!
