Edward Scissorhands Volume 2: Whole Again by Drew Rausch, Kate Leth

4.0

I recently read the first graphic novel and since the library had both volumes, I grabbed them both at the same time. As I mentioned before, I was provided a copy from Netgalley but couldn't get it to work well on my Kindle. This volume was better than the first. Edward decides he wants a TV doctor to help him with his "hands" so he can be a "whole" person, while Meg thinks it is a bad idea. There is a good supporting cast of friends and this seems to be more like the Edward I fell in love with in the movies. There are also some flashbacks with Meg's mom from when she was a kid, and her mother, Beth, would sneak out and visit Edward at his castle. These scenes amplified the enjoyment level. The artwork is still great and this volume is more colorful than the previous. I have to admit I like where this story headed so if another volume is released, I will look at picking it up as well.
