The Butcher's Masquerade by Matt Dinniman

4.0

Best book in the series so far. If it wasn't cheapened by all the unnecessary sexual content (I'm no prude, but this genre is plagued by an incessant amount), this would be a truly great book. This volume had me: a) captivated by the story and character development, b) laughing (Oh, Donut...), and c) tearing up (about 60% through)

This next statement may be a little spoiler'y, but without any actual spoilers:

I will say, there was quite a build-up for several confrontations that turned out disappointingly anti-climactic.
