it’s honestly very good! intriguing setting and vivid descriptions; the world seemed to be influenced by studio ghibli’s movies and atla, while still being its own, unique, colourful thing.
I just think it was meant for a younger audience than I. Mid- or young teens, I think. the characters are a bit rudimentary and simplistic in their characterisation, but still likeable enough. would definitely recommend to my cousins, if they were into reading at all.
