Lovely book! Long read! Great characters! Interesting world to step into! The author paints the scene well, and the world you have the pleasure of exploring with the characters seems vast and full of many potential adventures. As I read I wished their travels wouldn't end.
The characters are wrapped up at the end almost like in a movie format when the credits end and there are little stories for each person. Unfortunately, the last 100-200 pages seemed a little rushed, especially in comparison to the first ~600 pages of build-up. Great book altogether, just wished the author paid the same attention to detail in the last couple hundred pages. It's already an 800-page book, I don't think anyone really would mind if it were a bit longer to balance the last half of the book with the first half.
